Jeffery A. Hux was born in Hickory, North Carolina on July 15, 1989. He graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011. During his time at UNCG, Jeff served as Student Government Vice President as well as many other executive positions in various clubs at the University. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jeff attended Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law where he participated in the school’s Juvenile Justice Clinic among other clubs and committees. Jeff graduated in 2014 and passed the bar that same year.

Later in 2014, Jeff joined the firm of Farver & Skidmore as an associate. After several years in private practice, Jeff worked for the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office before returning to the Firm as a partner in 2021. Jeffery has served as Bar President and Vice President of Rockingham & Caswell Counties. He also served on the North Carolina State Employees Credit Union Board of Trustees for the Reidsville Branch for three consecutive years.

Jeff primarily practices in Domestic Relations or Family Law, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Evictions, Small Claims, Traffic Offenses, and Guardianship Proceedings.

Jeff has been married since 2016 to his wife, Hilary Hux, and they share one child, Wyatt.
